Can you do work in an apartment building?
Yes. We work inside individual apartments and on common property, and we are comfortable dealing with building managers and body corporate committees. Where a job affects other residents, we give notice before supply is interrupted and keep the outage as short as the work allows.
Why do my downlights keep failing?
Usually heat, or old transformers that have outlived the lamps they were driving. Halogen fittings in particular cook themselves and everything around them. Converting to LED with properly matched drivers generally solves it permanently and cuts the running cost at the same time, so we would rather do that than keep replacing lamps for you.
Do you install air conditioning?
Yes, including the dedicated circuit and switchboard capacity the unit needs, which is the part that catches people out. Fitting a system to a board that has no spare capacity is how you end up with nuisance tripping every hot afternoon. We check that first and tell you if the board needs attention before the system goes in.
