Guanaba is one of the smaller localities on the Gold Coast, around twenty-two square kilometres with a population of roughly 850 at the 2021 census. The eastern boundary follows the Coomera River and Tamborine National Park occupies part of the west. There has been a school here since about 1930, opened using a building relocated from the former Carrara State School, which gives some sense of how long the district has been settled.

Is the call out fee really nothing?
In standard business hours, yes. You are not charged for the attendance, the diagnosis or the written quote, and you only pay if you approve the work. Emergency and after-hours attendance is arranged on a different basis and we explain that at the time you call.
Can you wire stables, a tack room or an arena?
Yes. Stable and arena work has its own considerations: dust and moisture mean enclosures need to be rated for the environment, fittings need to be out of reach of animals, and float charging points and water pumps each need their own protected circuit. We design for the actual use rather than treating it as a domestic install.
Nothing on our property is labelled. Can you sort that out?
We can, and it is worth doing. Tracing and labelling circuits means the next fault takes a fraction of the time to find, and it stops the whole property going dark because somebody switched off the wrong thing. We do it as part of a switchboard upgrade or as a job in its own right.
Why does a long cable run cost more?
Because the cable has to be larger. Over distance the voltage at the far end drops, and if the cable is undersized the equipment at the other end runs poorly or not at all. Sizing it correctly costs more in material and labour, and it is the difference between a circuit that works properly and one that causes problems for years.
